Online Funding Request Form Instructions

The Schmidt Family Foundation Board of Directors reviews grant requests in May and October. The application process for funding considerations is as follows:

The organization must be a 501 (c) 3 to qualify.

The Online Funding Request Form must be submitted for preliminary review.

Upon review of the Online Funding Request Form, if there is interest in obtaining detailed information for funding consideration, a Grant Application will be issued with instructions for application as well as the timeline for submission.

If the preliminary review of the Online Funding Request Form is rejected, written notification will be made via return e-mail.

Grant applications are reviewed by the Board of Directors at each Board meeting.

Notification of the Board's action on the funding request will follow the meeting within one week.

If approved, funding and a Grant contract will follow within 2-3 weeks.

Once funding has been approved, additional and/or future funding requests may not be submitted within the same calendar year.

If the Online Funding Request Form is denied, please do not apply again within the next three years.
